We would like to invite all qualified persons to submit their resume to the Office of the Solicitor General (OSG).

Republic Act 9417 expanded the OSG providing its lawyers with more compensation and benefits. Currently, the office has 29 vacant solicitor positions.

The Solicitor position carries with it judicial rank so there is a requirement of 5 years practice of law. Those with less than 5 years practice of law can nevertheless apply for the position of Associate Solicitor.

Solicitor I carries with it the rank of a Municipal Circuit Trial Court Judge.
Solicitor II carries with it the rank of a Municipal Trial Court Judge.
Solicitor III carries with it the rank of a Regional Trial Court.

Each solicitor and associate solicitor is issued his or her own laptop and cellphone with a postpaid plan free of charge.

Under R.A. 9417, the lawyers of the OSG shall have the following salary grades:

Solicitor III - salary grade 29
Solicitor II - salary grade 28
Solicitor I - salary grade 27
Associate Sol. III - salary grade 26
Associate Sol. II - salary grade 25
Associate Sol. I - salary grade 24

Additional benefits for solicitors include:

b. RATA
c. allowances from client government agencies.
d. Health Care Service
e. accident insurance
f. scholarships on official time and at expense of the OSG
g. provident fund

In this light, the Office of the Solicitor General would again like to invite all qualified persons to submit their resume at its office located in #134 Amorsolo St. Legaspi Village, Makati City.
